Neel Chowdhury to join Network18 as vice-president, marketing

Neel & #BANNER1 & # Chowdhury will join Network18 as vice-president, marketing, in March. He will be responsible for the marketing operations of CNBC-TV18 and CNBC Awaaz.

Chowdhury was earlier head of marketing at Times Now. He looked after the channel's marketing, communication and digital responsibilities. At Network18, he will report to Ajay Chacko, director, TV18 Business Media.

Chacko says, "CNBC-TV18 and CNBC Awaaz have consolidated their leadership in the business news space. I expect Neel to work along with the super-talented and resourceful marketing, editorial and sales teams here to sustain the growth and leadership momentum of the two CNBC channels. I am sure that Neel's talent, experience and maturity will bring tremendous value to our brands and operations."

Chowdhury joined Times Now in January 2007. He has extensive experience in brand building and revenue management. Some of the organisations he has worked with earlier are PepsiCo and Nabisco in the US and Tata Teleservices and Airtel in India.
