Anto Noval moves out of Rediff Bangalore

Noval moved to advertising in 2002, joining the client servicing function at Grey Worldwide as account executive

Anto Noval, creative director at Rediffusion Bangalore, has decided to move out. But he’s doing so on a happy note, having won three One Show nominations for the agency this year.

Noval began his career in the sales and marketing function in 1997. He was in the field for five years, and worked for the Kochi branch of the Taj Residency, Birla and the London School of Commerce. He moved to advertising in 2002, joining the client servicing function at Grey Worldwide as account executive.

After a year’s stay at Grey, he did short stints at JWT and Lowe. In 2004, he joined Rediffusion as account supervisor. After two and a half years, he shifted to the creative stream at the agency. He was made creative group head. A few months ago, he was designated creative director.

At Rediff, Noval has worked across all categories on brands such as ING Vysya, Taurus Beverages, Taurus Group, Airtel, UB Group, Royal Mist, Bagpiper, Royal Challenge, Bangalore IPL, ITC Classmates, Animaster, Xylys and Sugar Free. At Grey, he worked on Arvind Brands, ITC Foods, The Park Hotels and Blaupunkt. At JWT and Lowe, he looked after Lipton Iced Tea and Britannia, respectively.

Apart from the One Show nominations that he got for Sugar Free Ants, he also has two Cannes finalists to his credit for the same work. At the GoaFest Abby’s this year, he had six nominations and won a bronze. Last year, he won a silver and a bronze and had five nominations at the GoaFest.
