Nisha Singhania is executive vice-president, Rediffusion Mumbai

During her more than 10 year long career, Singhania has worked at Leo Burnett, Ambience Publicis and Grey Worldwide

Rediffusion DY&R has promoted Nisha Singhania, business head, new business and corporate affairs, to executive vice-president of the agency’s Mumbai branch. She takes over from Bimal Nair, who has moved on to pursue entrepreneurship. She will report to Mahesh Chauhan, president, Rediffusion.

Chauhan says, “Singhania’s elevation gives an added fillip to the management bandwidth and her experience and commitment will help us engage our clients better and further consolidate our service offering. She understands the DNA of the organisation in its entirety; hence her progression into this role was obvious.”

Singhania has been in advertising for more than a decade. She holds a postgraduate diploma in advertising and communication management from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). She has worked at agencies such as Leo Burnett, Ambience Publicis and Grey Worldwide. She was responsible for setting up the planning department at Grey.

In October 2005, she moved to Rediffusion. As business head, new business and corporate affairs, she was in charge of new business nationally, and also taking care of the brand, Rediffusion DY&R. In addition, she spearheaded Brand Asset Valuator (BAV), Y&R’s proprietary research tool in India.
