Speaking to agencyfaqs!, Hiranandani said, “My role will be to promote mobile marketing in Asia and build an ecosystem for mobile advertising for brands, advertisers, agencies and clients. The MMA is also planning to set up a chapter in India and I will be heading that initiative.”

"The APAC region is one that the MMA views as an emerging market for mobile marketing with significant growth potential. Having Rajiv and Mobile2win represented on our APAC board is a welcome addition as we further develop regionalised and localised guidelines and best practices," Laura Marriott, president, MMA, said in a statement.
