Rajesh Chadha to join Endemol India

Chadha has been appointed director, production and operations

Endemol India has announced the appointment of Rajesh Chadha as director, production and operations. Earlier, Chadha was senior vice-president and head of operations at BAG Films, where he worked for 15 years. He will take up his responsibilities at Endemol on December 25 in Mumbai.

He is reporting to Deepak Dhar, country head, Endemol India.

The holder of an MBA from Pune University, Chadha has vast experience in television production and operations. At Endemol India, he will be responsible for the overall production activities of the company, which includes an array of fiction, non-fiction, regional, sports and documentary content.

In an official communiqué, Dhar says, “Having spearheaded shows in different genres for multiple broadcasters and with many successful hits to his credit, Rajesh brings with him extensive experience in television programming in India and abroad. He is sure to add to the existing talent pool at Endemol India and create breakthrough concepts for broadcasters.”

Chadha says, “I am looking forward to contributing to the ever-expanding portfolio at Endemol. I am thrilled to be associated with a team that has been the driving force behind some of the most successful shows on Indian television today.”

During his association with BAG Films, Chadha has handled various genres such as game shows, daily soaps, reality shows and weekly dramas. He is the man behind popular shows such as Kumkum, Dekho Magar Pyar Se and Khulja Sim Sim on STAR Plus, Akhiyon Ke Jharokhon Say and Sidhanth on STAR One, Woh Hue Na Humare on Doordarshan, Yeh Wada Raha on ARY (UAE), Har Dil Jo Love Karega on Zoom and Rihaaee on Sony.
