At Dainik Bhaskar, Jaitly handled strategic marketing and ad sales for the media business of DB Corp. He was instrumental in bringing about synergies between state and national sales to leverage the group’s strengths. Dainik Bhaskar is yet to decide on who will take on the responsibilities handled by Jaitly.

With over 24 years of experience, Jaitly has worked with various media, FMCG and telecom brands. Prior to joining Dainik Bhaskar, he was the CEO, Punjab circle of Bharti Airtel. Armed with a Masters degree in business administration from Long Island University, he started his career in the late ’80's and has been associated with Modi Xerox, Star TV, MESAT Broadcast Network System, Pepsi Foods and Data Access.

Recalling the most challenging times of his professional life, Jaitly says, “My biggest challenge so far has been the time spent with Pepsi and Airtel. Airtel, because telecom was just starting up. And working with an organisation as big as Pepsi was an experience in itself.” It was during his tenure with Airtel that Delhi became the first circle to achieve a million customers.
