Pandya has been a part of the ad fraternity for19 years

Viral Pandya, executive creative director, Cheil Communications has put in his papers after 15-16 months of service.

The news was confirmed to afaqs! by Prathap Suthan, national creative director, Cheil Communications. Pandya, however, was unavailable for comment, and his next destination is not known yet.

Pandya stepped into the Cheil family in late 2007, along with Vedobroto Roy, who had moved in from GOD. Roy continues to be with Cheil as creative director.

With an advertising career spanning 19 years, Pandya began his career at Mudra and Interact Vision - he was with the Mudra Group for about five years (1991-95).

He moved to Saatchi & Saatchi in 1995. In between an association that lasted for almost a decade, he had a short stint of eleven months at Grey. He re-joined Saatchi & Saatchi at its Bengaluru office, and later relocated to the Delhi branch.

He set up Out of the Box in 2005, which has, in the four years of its existence, come to be the exclusive agency for the Mother's Pride brand. The work done by the agency for the brand has been nominated at the New York Festivals and has been awarded at the Goafest.

While at Cheil, Pandya has also seen the agency's success in garnering nominations for brand Samsung at various award fests.
