Imagine to spice up primetime with a series on past life

NDTV Imagine is launching a reality series that delves into past life

NDTV Imagine will give a few of us a chance to know who we were in our past lives. After getting a famous personality married on television and having celebrity couples take care of kids, the channel will delve into the abstract territory of past life soon, to spice up its primetime offerings.

'Raaz Pichhle Janam Ka' is a reality show that will trace participants' past lives and solve questions such as why déjà vu happens, recurring dreams and coincidences which may be related to their past lives.

& #BANNER1 & #The show will use past life regression technique, conducted by clinical psychologist and practitioner Dr. Trupti Jayin, to answer questions and explain strange occurrences. Past life regression is a technique that uses conscious meditative technique to recover memories of the past life.

Each episode will have one person featuring in the entire process. NDTV Imagine will have a fair mix of celebrities on the show. The show will be produced by Ideas Box Productions and is expected to go on air sometime in the end of November. Actor Ravi Kishan will host the show.

Shailja Kejriwal, executive vice-president, content, NDTV Imagine believes that audiences are looking at new ways to get entertained. "The content of the show is backed by extensive research and a proven scientific technique. We are sure that it will make an instant impact on the audience," she states.

Meanwhile, Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, the Season 2 of Swayamvar which is right now in the 'call for entries' phase, will be launched after Raaz Pichhle Janam Ka. The channel also plans to add two-three fiction shows by the end of the year.
