Six Bullets for India at YoungGuns Awards 2009

Ogilvy India, JWT India and Rediffusion Y&R are the trio from India that scored at the awards ceremony

The winners for YoungGuns Awards 2009 were announced in Sydney recently. Amongst the entries selected from India, Ogilvy India leads with one silver Bullet and one bronze Bullet. JWT India follows with three bronze Bullets, while Rediffusion Y&R has won one bronze Bullet.

The Sour Marbles campaign for Perfetti Van Melle has earned one silver Bullet and one bronze Bullet for Ogilvy India. Saurabh Kulkarni and Nasrullah Husami won the silver Bullet in the Out of Home Campaigns category; while the bronze Bullet was awarded for Print Advertising Campaigns Newspapers category.

JWT India's Arjun Kumar, Shiva Parameswaran, Senthil Kumar, Jeff Emmanuel, Arun Kumar, Mark Manuel and Mayun Samavedam have won a bronze Bullet for the campaign, Run/Ban Jallikatu, for The Times of India under the Digital – Being Involved category.

Sulekha.com's Arjuna the Archer in 2008 AD, created by JWT India, has fetched a bronze Bullet for Jeff Emmanuel, Mark Manuel, Arun Kumar, Arjun Nalapat, Senthil Kumar, Suresh Eriyat and Karthik Sekhar, under the Digital Visual Design – Aesthetic category.

Minal Phatak, Rohit Redekar, Tista Sen and Nandita Chalam of JWT India have won a bronze Bullet for Berger Paints India's Berger Natural Finish Colours campaign in the Out of Home – Outdoor Large Format category.

Rediffusion Y&R's Megha Dutta, Anunay Rai, Jaideep Mahajan, Deepesh Jha and Shameem Mohammad received a bronze bullet in Print Advertising Campaigns Newspapers category, for the Airtel Mobile Phone Data Backup Service campaign for Bharti Airtel.
