His key responsibility will include heading the Delhi branch and supervising the agencies' north zone accounts
Gautam Jhanjee has joined MOMS, Madison's outdoor division as deputy general manager, north. He takes over the reins from Krishnendu Ghosh, who has moved to Milestone Brandcom, Nabendu Bhattacharyya's OOH venture, as regional head, north.
At MOMS, Jhanjee will report to Dipankar Sanyal, chief operating officer, north and east, MOMS. Madison Media operates two outdoor divisions - Platinum Outdoor and MOMS - under the Madison Outdoor Group, which is headed by Arminio Ribeiro as chief executive officer.
In the north zone, the agency's clients include Tata Docomo, Coca-Cola, Dish TV, Max New York Life Insurance, Aviva Life Insurance, SpiceJet, and Mother Dairy.
Jhanjee is also in the process of closing his partnership venture, Giraffe Brand Communique, a small agency providing outdoor and retail solutions. Prior to joining MOMS, Jhanjee was responsible for business development here.
He started his career in 1995 with Selvel Media. In the next 14 years, he worked with OOH companies such as Primesite, Portland Outdoor, OAP and Clear Channel Outdoor.
