OMD wins media duties for Multi Screen Media

OMD won the account after a multi-agency pitch, involving three agencies

Optimum Media Direction (OMD) India has bagged the media duties for Multi Screen Media (MSM), after a multi-agency pitch. The business is estimated to be in the range of Rs 50-60 crore. The other agencies who participated in the pitch are the incumbent agency, MediaCom and Carat Media.

Following the win, all media requirements for Multi Screen Media will be taken care of by OMD, except for outdoor, which is handled by Media Circle. The allotment of creative duties will remain the same.

& #BANNER1 & #After a 10-year long tryst with MediaCom, MSM decided to change its media agency, due to some undisclosed reasons. Sharing his reaction on the development, Danish Khan, vice-president, Sony Entertainment TV, says, "We are happy to have OMD on board. We are looking forward to a fruitful association in the days to come."

OMD is equally elated at the win. "This is a very prestigious account and we are really looking forward to work together. We will start our new innings as soon as we receive the brief from Multi Screen Media," says Harish Shriyan, managing partner, OMD.

For the record, Multi Screen Media comprises Sony Entertainment Television, SET Max, Pix and SAB.
