Crayons Advertising wins duties for Harvard Business School

The agency has been brought on-board to create awareness about Harvard's executive education programmes in the country

Harvard Business School has signed up with Crayons Advertising in India. The agency has been roped in to handle the creative and media duties for the institute's Indian counterpart.

Ranjan Bargotra, president, Crayons Advertising, says, "In terms of the objective, the agency is required to create awareness about Harvard's various executive education programmes in India."

This is the first time the institute's Indian counterpart has roped in an advertising agency for its communications. It is looking at print and online media for this purpose.

The print campaign will see an exposure in business dailies and magazines.

Harvard established its India Research Center (IRC) in 2006 in Mumbai. The decision to launch an IRC in the country was based on the fact that after the significant economic policy transitions during the early 1990s, India was proving to be a major force within the world economy.

Considering that, the IRC chose to support Harvard's faculty in its research interests on the emerging trends that were transforming and shaping India. To date, research on this region has included the study of information technology, biotechnology, healthcare, agribusiness, and corporate governance.

Harvard Business School was founded in 1908 as part of Harvard University. It is located in Boston and offers full-time programmes leading to MBA and doctoral degrees, as well as more than 40 Executive Education programmes.
