DNA appoints Dipayan Chowdhury as national sales head

Chowdhury has been associated with DNA newspaper for the past five years and was responsible for newspaper's Delhi branch for the last two years

Dipayan Chowdhury will now head the national sales team of DNA as executive vice-president (revenues) as part of the internal elevation process. He will assume the new role with immediate effect.

& #BANNER1 & #In his new role he will report to KU Rao and will be based out of Delhi as of now. He has been associated with DNA newspaper for the past five years and was responsible for newspaper's Delhi branch for the last two years.

In an official communique, Chowdhury, says, "The challenge shall be to synergise the strength of the brand across editions with revenues."

Armed with 19 years of experience, Chowdhury has been associated with the media and FMCG companies. He started his career with Pepsi and was a part of its launch team in Delhi. His next destination was ABP (Ananda Bazaar Patrika), followed by Business Standard, which gave him a head in the print media.

Prior to joining DNA, he was the head of key accounts team at Hindutan Times, Delhi.

Chowdhury is an MBA and IIM (Kolkata) alumni.
