Nikhil Gandhi, vice-president and network head, sales, UTV has been given the added responsibility as business head, UTV Bindass. The move is expected to strengthen the position of UTV Bindass in the youth entertainment space.
The organisation is sure that Gandhi will take UTV Bindass to its deserved position as India's leading youth media brand.
Speaking about the new strategy for UTV Bindass, Gandhi says, "It's been two and a half years since the channel was launched and now, it's time that we take the next leap. Every quarter, we bring groundbreaking quality to the content of the channel that has now become our core-competency. We have tasted success with Emotional Atyachar and we are going to bring the new franchise of Dadagiri in a new avatar very soon. We will create commandos out of raw youth in this property of ours."
Gandhi started his career at the Times Group as assistant manager in the display team, west region. He remained with the group for almost four years.
Subsequently, he joined MTV as account manager, west region. His stint at MTV lasted for one year. Later, Gandhi worked as region head, west zone for Zoom for one and a half years.
Since the past three years, Gandhi has been working with the UTV brand in different positions. Beginning as regional head, Bindass and Bindass Movies, he has grown to become national head, Bindass Movies.First Published : September 25, 2014 04:04 PM
