Explaining the reason behind selecting Ogilvy India, Mohit Ganju, head, marketing, IndusInd Bank, says, "We basically need fresh ideas for specific brand planning. We are impressed by the past work done by Ogilvy India."

The bank's creative spends for this fiscal will be about Rs 40 crore.

"We are really excited about working with IndusInd Bank and are all geared up to reposition the brand and do some path breaking work. It will surely be a challenging task but we are all excited about the new mandate of transforming its image into a young, dynamic and responsive brand," says Piyush Pandey, chairperson, Ogilvy India India in an official communiqué.

Around two years ago, there was a change in the top management at the bank, following which it has undertaken several branding activities.

IndusInd Bank had recently launched a three TVC campaign which featured Omi Vaidya and Shruti Seth. The film was directed by Imtiaz Ali and created by RK Swamy BBDO. IndusInd now wants to position itself as a young, energetic and responsive bank.
