The brand plans to spend Rs 40 crore on marketing during this financial year
Luminous Power Technologies has appointed Meridian to handle its creative function. The appointment follows a multi agency pitch which involved several other agencies. The incumbent on the business is Arms Crestra.
Sushil Matey, president, marketing and sales, Luminous Power Technologies, says, "It was a creative pitch and many agencies participated to win the bid but we were particularly impressed by the acumen and understanding of the brand showed by Meridian. This agency will take our brand to newer heights. We are presently working on a new television commercial which will be aired from April 30 onwards."
"The simplicity of our idea connected us to the Luminous brand. Our presentation, which was visually arresting, attracted many and hence we got the client. The campaign will be showcased on a national level and we hope to match the expectations. Luminous has a dynamic product range and our task will be to build the category as well as the product and form an emotional bond with the customers," says Rensil D'Silva, executive creative director, Meridian.
