37 shortlisted entries in The One Show 2010 are from India

This also includes 16 entries that have been shortlisted in the Design category

A total of 37 entries from India have been shortlisted in The One Show, 2010. While 21 entries were shortlisted in One Show, 16 entries have been shortlisted in the One Show Design.

McCann Worldgroup (Mumbai)'s entry, Shelves (for Videocon Industries) has been shortlisted in the Newspapers-Full Page or Spread-Single category. Another entry from McCann Worldgroup, Fire Scooter (for Republic of Chicken), is shortlisted in the Experimental Advertising category.

Bates 141 (Mumbai)'s work, Never Stop (for Steadtler) has been shortlisted in the Newspaper-Full Page or Spread-Campaign category. TapRoot India (Mumbai)'s Colors of India (for Transasia Papers) and Power of Salt (for Nirma) have been shortlisted in the Newsapers-Full Page or Spread-Campaign category.

Leo Burnett (Mumbai)'s Tide Magttraction (for P&G) has been shortlisted in both Magazines: Full Page or Spread-Campaign category and Innovation in Advertising-Campaign category. Publicis (Mumbai)'s Maze (for Croft pens) has been shortlisted in the Small Pace Print-Single category. O&M (Mumbai)'s Being Young for Pond's Age Miracle (HUL) is shortlisted in the Small Pace Print-Campaign category.

Grey Worldwide (Mumbai)'s Hair Art (for Pantene) has been shortlisted in the Outdoor-Campaign category. Its AIDS Mask (for Ojus Medical Institute) was shortlisted in the Collateral (Brochures and Direct Mail)-Single category.

O&M (Mumbai)'s The Economist (for The Economist) was shortlisted in the Outdoor-Campaign category. Leo Burnett (Mumbai)'s Stainbroidery Ink (for P&G) has been shortlisted in the Collateral: Posters, POP and In-store-Single and Campaign categories; and in the Collateral: Promotion and Innovation in Advertising-Single and Campaign categories. Rediffusion Y&R (Mumbai)'s Harry Potter and Avatar for Seventymm are shortlisted in the Collateral: Posters, POP and In-store-Single category.

O&M Mumbai's Choking Lives (for Vodafone) has been shortlisted in the Public Service: Newspaper or Magazine-Campaign category. Also, its Domestic Violence (for Breakthrough Trust) was shortlisted in the Public Service-Television-Campaign category.

The One Show Design finalists include Karigari Design's entry, Soap Cards, for The Backpacker Company. The entry has been shortlisted in the Corporate Identity-Single category. Bates 141 (Mumbai)'s Short Stories (for TC Ghai) is shortlisted in the Corporate Identity-Campaign category, while JWT (Gurgaon)'s Fold-out Yoga cards (for Atul Sharma) is shortlisted in the Corporate Identity-Campaign category. Leo Burnett (Mumbai)'s Wrapper (for P&G) is shortlisted in both Package Design Campaign and in Collateral-Promotion categories.

Rediffusion Y&R (Gurgaon)'s Exorcism for Kenwood (singer) has been shortlisted in the Collateral-Posters, POP and In-Store-Single category. O&M (Gurgaon)'s Bubbles (for GSK) was nominated in the Collateral-Posters, POP and In-Store-Campaign category. TapRoot India's Colors of India (for Transasia) has been shortlisted in the Collateral-Posters, POP and In-Store-Campaign category.

JWT India (Mumbai)'s Sliced Car (for Birla Global Finance) and Street to School (for Maharashtra Janvikas Kendra) were shortlisted in the Spatial Design-Single category. Grey Worldwide (Mumbai)'s Hair Art (for Pantene) was chosen in the Outdoor-Campaign category. Bates 141 (Mumbai)'s Stolen Signature (for India Anti-virus) was shortlisted in the Direct Mail-Single category.

Meridian Communication (Bengaluru)'s Gift a Tree (for treesforfree.org) has been shortlisted in the Public Service: Outdoor and Posters-Single categories. Contract Advertising (New Delhi)'s Nature (for The Environment People) was nominated in the Public Service-Outdoor and Posters-Campaign categories. Bates 141 (Mumbai)'s The Hidden Truth (for Women's Grievance Cell) was shortlisted in the Public Service-Collateral-Single category. Dentsu Marcom (Gurgaon)'s Put Birds Back on Trees (for WWF) was nominated in the Service-Collateral-Campaign category.

The organisers of The One Show add that the list may be updated as finalists send in proper approval forms.

For the record, The One Club is a non-profit organisation devoted to elevating creative work in the industry. The One Show Awards recognise creativity in advertising across TV, print, radio, design, interactive and new media.
