RAM Week 15: Close fight for fifth spot between Big FM and Fever FM in Mumbai

In Delhi, both AIR FM Rainbow and Vividh Bharati have scored identical market share of 1.9 per cent

The Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for RAM markets for Week 15 is out. Here is an update.

Mumbai

Radio Mirchi is No.1 in the city, with a market share of 17.1 per cent. Its average market share for the past four weeks stands at 17.2 per cent, same as the last week.

Next in line are Red FM and Radio City, which occupy second and third spot in the city, respectively.

Red FM has a market share of 14.1 per cent, registering a loss of 0.6 percentage point this week. Its last four weeks' average market share stands at 14.3 per cent. Radio City's market share remains at 13.6 per cent, the same as in Week 14.

AIR FM Gold is at No. 4, with a market share of 11.6 percent. Next in line are Big FM and Fever FM, which have an identical market share of 11.1 per cent. Big FM has registered a loss of 0.3 percentage point; while Fever has lost 0.1 percentage point, vis-à-vis Week 14.

Radio One is at No. 7 with a market share of 6.4 per cent, gaining 0.7 percentage point over last week. It is followed by AIR FM Rainbow with a market share of 5.6 per cent, which is 0.9 percentage point higher than in Week 14.

Among the other stations in Mumbai, Vividh Bharati has a market share of 4.2 per cent; followed by Meow FM with a market share of 2.7 per cent and Akashvani Mumbai with 2.4 per cent market share.

Delhi

Radio Mirchi leads in Delhi with a market share of 24.4 per cent, registering a gain of 0.2 percentage point in comparison to Week 14. Its average market share over the past four weeks is 24.6 per cent.

Fever FM is No. 2 with a market share of 18.7 per cent, which is identical to its last four weeks' average market share. AIR FM Gold is No. 3, with a market share of 17.5 per cent, the same as in Week 14.

Red FM, at No. 4, has a market share of 9.3 per cent, registering a loss of 0.3 percentage point in comparison to Week 14. It is followed by Radio City, which has a market share of 8.9 per cent, gaining 0.3 percentage point over Week 14.

Big FM is placed sixth in the city with a market share of 6.8 per cent, losing 0.2 percentage point, vis-à-vis Week 14. Radio One follows with a market share of 6.1 per cent; while its last four weeks' average market share stands at 5.5 per cent.

Among the other stations in Delhi this week, Meow FM has a market share of 2.6 per cent; followed by AIR FM Rainbow and Vividh Bharati (1.9 per cent each), Hit FM (1.7 per cent) and Akashvani Delhi (0.1 per cent).

Bengaluru

Big FM is No. 1 in the city with a market share of 19.4 per cent. It is followed by Radio Mirchi and Fever FM at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.

Radio Mirchi has garnered a market share of 17.7 per cent, gaining 0.2 percentage point over last week. Fever FM has a market share of 15.5 per cent, also gaining 0.2 percentage point. Its last four weeks' average market share stands at 15.2 per cent.

Radio City is at No. 4, with a market share of 12.2 per cent and a loss of 0.2 percentage point this week. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 12.6 per cent.

AIR FM Rainbow, at No. 5, has a market share of 9.7 per cent, registering a loss of 0.2 percentage point over Week 14. The radio station's four weeks' average market share is also 9.7 per cent.

Radio One continues at No. 6, with a market share of 8.9 per cent. Red FM has gained 0.1 percentage point to garner a market share of 8.2 per cent. Its last four weeks' average market share is 8.6 per cent.

Among others in Bengaluru in Week 15 is Vividh Bharati, with a market share of 4.6 per cent; it is followed by Radio Indigo (2.9 per cent), Gyan Vani (0.7 per cent) and Akashvani (0.3 per cent).

Kolkata

Radio Mirchi is the No.1 radio station in the city, with a market share of 20.3 per cent and a loss of 0.6 percentage point from Week 14. Its last four weeks' average market share is 20.6 per cent.

Big FM and Friends FM occupy second and third spot, respectively. Big FM has a market share of 17.2 per cent, with a loss 0.2 percentage point over the previous week. Its last four weeks' average market share is 17.3 per cent.

Friends FM has a market share of 11.8 per cent, with a gain of 0.8 percentage point over last week. Its last four weeks' average market share also stands at 11.8 per cent.

Aamar FM is at No. 4 with a market share of 11.4 per cent, gaining 0.4 percentage point over Week 14. Its last four weeks' average market share is 10.9 per cent.

Red FM is at No. 5, with a market share of 8.2 per cent. It is followed by Fever FM with a market share of 7.5 per cent. Its last four weeks' average market share stands at 7.5 per cent too.

Radio One and Meow FM occupy seventh and eighth position in the city with market shares of 6.6 and 5.7 per cent, respectively.

In Week 15, among the other stations in Kolkata, AIR FM Rainbow has a market share of 3.8 per cent; followed by AIR FM Gold (3.7 per cent), Akashvani (1.9 per cent), Power FM (1.2 per cent) and Vividh Bharati (0.7 per cent).
