RAM Week 16: Big FM and AIR FM Gold fight for fourth spot in Mumbai

In Mumbai, both Big FM and AIR FM Gold have identical market shares of 11.6 per cent

The Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for the four RAM markets for Week 16 is out. Here is an update.

Mumbai

Radio Mirchi leads in the city with a market share of 17 per cent, showing a loss of 0.1 percentage points over Week 15. Its average market share for the past four weeks turns out to be 17.2 per cent, same as Week 15 and Week 14.

The second and third spots are occupied by Red FM and Radio City respectively.

Red FM has a market share of 14.1 per cent, showing no loss or gain over Week 15. Its four weeks' average market share stands at 14.3 per cent. Radio City has a market share of 13.5 per cent, with a loss of 0.1 percentage points in comparison to the previous week.

This week, both Big FM and AIR FM Gold have managed identical market shares of

11.6 per cent each. In the process, Big FM has gained 0.5 percentage points, whereas AIR FM Gold has neither gained nor lost market share in comparison to Week 15.

The sixth position in Mumbai is occupied by Fever FM, with a market share of 11.1 per cent and its last four weeks' market share turns out to be 11.2 per cent.

Radio One occupies the seventh spot with a market share of 6 per cent, losing 0.4 percentage points over last week. Next in line is AIR FM Rainbow, with a market share of 5.5 per cent.

Among the other stations in Mumbai are Vividh Bharati, which has a market share of

4.1 per cent, followed by Meow FM and Akashvani Mumbai (2.4 per cent each).

Delhi

Radio Mirchi leads in Delhi with a market share of 24.6 per cent, registering a gain of 0.2 percentage points in comparison to Week 15. Its average market share over the past four weeks is 24.5 per cent.

Fever FM is at No. 2 with a market share of 18.6 per cent and its four weeks' average market share stands at 18.7 per cent. AIR FM Gold, placed third, has a market share of 17.8 per cent with a gain of 0.3 percentage points over the earlier week.

Red FM is placed fourth with a market share of 9.5 per cent and has registered a gain of 0.2 percentage points in comparison to Week 15. Radio City is at No. 5 with a market share of 8.4 per cent, registering a loss of 0.5 percentage points.

Big FM is placed sixth with a market share of 6.7 per cent and a loss of 0.1 percentage points. Radio One is seventh, with a market share of 5.9 per cent and its last four weeks' average market share turns out to be 5.7 per cent.

Among the other stations in Delhi this week, Meow FM has a market share of

2.7 per cent; followed by AIR FM Rainbow (2.1 per cent); Vividh Bharati and Hit FM (1.8 per cent each); and Akashvani Delhi (0.2 per cent).

Bengaluru

Big FM is No.1 in the city with a market share of 19.4 per cent. It is followed by Radio Mirchi and Fever FM at No. 2 and No. 3 positions respectively.

Radio Mirchi has garnered a market share of 17.3 per cent, losing 0.4 percentage points over last week. Fever FM has a market share of 15.4 per cent with a loss of 0.1 percentage points. Its last four weeks' average market share stands at 15.3 per cent.

Radio City is placed fourth with a market share of 12.6 per cent, gaining 0.4 percentage points in comparison to Week 15. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 12.5 per cent.

AIR FM Rainbow, at No. 5, has a market share of 9.7 per cent, which is the same as last week. The radio station's four weeks' average market share is 9.8 per cent.

Radio One occupies the sixth position with a market share of 8.7 per cent. Red FM, without registering any gain or loss, has maintained its market share of 8.2 per cent. Its last four weeks' average market share is 8.5 per cent.

Among others in Bengaluru in Week 16 are Vividh Bharati, with a market share of

4.8 per cent, followed by Radio Indigo (2.8 per cent), Gyan Vani (0.8 per cent)

and Akashvani (0.2 per cent).

Kolkata

Radio Mirchi leads in the city with a market share of 20.2 per cent with a loss of 0.1 per cent. Its four weeks' average market share is 20.5 per cent.

Big FM and Friends FM occupy the second and third spots. Big FM has a market share of

17.6 per cent, with a gain of 0.4 percentage points over the previous week. Its four weeks' average market share is 17.4 per cent.

Friends FM has a market share of 11.7 per cent, with a loss of 0.1 percentage points over last week. Its last four weeks' average market share stands at 11.7 per cent.

Aamar FM is at No. 4 with a market share of 10.8 per cent, losing 0.6 percentage points over Week 15. The last four weeks' average market share for the radio station is 11 per cent.

Red FM is placed fifth with a market share of 8.3 per cent. It is followed by Fever FM in the sixth place with a market share of 7.9 per cent and a gain of 0.4 percentage points. Its last four weeks' average market share stands at 7.4 per cent.

Radio One and Meow FM occupy the seventh and eighth positions in the city, with market shares of 6.8 per cent and 5.8 per cent, respectively.

In Week 16, among the other stations in Kolkata, AIR FM Gold has a market share of

3.5 per cent, followed by AIR FM Rainbow (3.1 per cent), Akashvani (2.2 per cent),

Power FM (1.4 per cent) and Vividh Bharati (0.6 per cent).
