Life, which has been filmed over 3,000 days, aims to narrate about 130 different stories featuring various rare species. Beginning on May 24, the 10-part series will be on-air from Monday through Friday at 8 pm. It will be aired in three languages -- English, Hindi and Tamil. The channel has roped in Britain's natural history filmmaker, David Attenborough as the narrator for the series.

Talking about the show, Rahul Johri, senior vice-president and general manager, India, Discovery Networks Asia Pacific, says, "Life brings some of the most outstanding stories ever caught on camera; and highlights the efforts of men and women who spent days, weeks and months waiting for that perfect shot."

Sharing details about the marketing push preceding the launch of the series, Rajiv Bakshi, vice-president, marketing, shares, "We are announcing the launch of the show with a campaign on leading general entertainment channels, and have also zeroed down on a few regional GECs. There are also advertisements in select publications as part of the pre-launch campaign."

With a few new launches in the recent past, including Discovery HD, Discovery Science and Discovery Turbo, Discovery Network appears to be upbeat.
