Travelguru has appointed Mudra Connext to handle its media duties. The account was awarded after a multi agency pitch.
The media spend for the brand for this fiscal is pegged at Rs 10 crore.
Praveen Meloth, assistant vice-president, marketing, Travelguru, shares that the brand was on the lookout for an agency which could provide appropriate initiatives to increase brand visibility. Meloth says, "Mudra Connext has been chosen as the preferred agency as it gives innovative thinking and strategic direction to the brands and the agency will be capable of conveying our message to the customers across the country."
Manas Mishra, executive vice-president and country head, Mudra Connext stresses on the category, which the agency finds more exciting. "Building awareness and identity for the brand will be a major task. We need to create a distinct identity for the brand as all travel portals are often dedicated to flight bookings."
Travelguru is a hotel and resort booking portal which offers access to more than 4,000 hotels across 350 cities in India and more than 72,000 hotels worldwide. It is one of the major travel portals in India and Mudra Connext is all set to provide exceptional media solutions for the brand.
