Department of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH), which comes under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, has floated a tender. Bids are invited from media owners, for the use of outdoor to create awareness across the country about AYUSH's systems and treatments. The main objective of the campaign is to integrate AYUSH systems into public health care, which continues to be dominated by allopathic treatments.
The tender is to be submitted in two parts. While the first part is meant to assess the technical and commercial capabilities of a bidder; the second part will involve prices offered for sites, along with clarity on terms and conditions, if any. The rates submitted should be valid for a period of one year, that is, 2010-2011. Earnest money deposit (EMD) of Rs 25,000 is to be deposited along with the bid.
Only companies with annual turnover of more than Rs 30 crore during the last three years are eligible to submit the bid, supported with a financial statement of accounts duly certified by a chartered accountant, along with details about service tax paid for the last three years.
The bidders are required to submit documents supporting that they have at least five years' experience in the field. A list of a maximum of 15 notable campaign activities handled, along with details of creatives and budgets involved, will also have to be submitted along with the bid.
Further, the agencies will have to submit at least five creatives, suggesting future promotional themes for AYUSH.
Duly completed tender forms can be submitted on or before May 25.
