Dumasia will be based in Mumbai and will report to Sanjay Shah, CEO, Navia Asia
OOH agency, Navia Asia has announced the appointment of Cyrus Dumasia as head - Western region. He joins Navia from TDI International, where he was business head, Maharashtra and Goa.
Dumasia will be based in Mumbai and will manage the agency's operations in the Western region. He will report to Sanjay Shah, chief executive officer, Navia Asia.
Dumasia will work with the Navia leadership team and focus on business development in the region. He replaces Vikas Nowal, who moved on from Navia in April this year. Nowal handled clients such as Tata Docomo, Uninor, IDBI Fortis, Oracle and Tata Housing.
Speaking on his new role, Dumasia says, "Exciting times lie ahead; and Navia provides the right platform to explore the ever-evolving world of out-of-home. I look forward to the innings at Navia and in delivering innovative and path-breaking work to clients."
Dumasia has over 15 years' experience, including stints in publishing houses such as Magna and India Today Group, besides an innings at STAR TV.
Earlier this month, Gourav Tandon, chief operating officer, Navia Asia had put in his papers, and Shah began looking over his responsibilities.
Navia has been operational in India for five years. It has a team of about 150 professionals across 32 cities in the country.
