Siddhartha Bindra appointed ECD, Euro RSCG Delhi

Bindra will head the creative team in its Delhi office

Euro RSCG has roped in Siddhartha Bindra as executive creative director. Bindra will head the creative team in the Delhi branch and report to Satbir Singh, chief creative officer, Euro RSCG. He has formally joined office beginning this week.

This is Bindra's second stint with Euro RSCG. Earlier, he was one of the two ECDs based in Mumbai.

Commenting on the development, Singh says, "The reason behind getting in Bindra is simple. We have worked together earlier and share a very good working relationship." He adds that he had been looking out for an ECD for the Delhi office for quite some time. As Bindra came back from New York and was considering advertising once again, Singh got him back to the agency. "I'm sure he can be a very good leader to the creative team in Delhi," says Singh.

Bindra brings with him an experience of more than 13 years. He started his career with SSC&B Lintas in 1997. He worked with Grey and Mudra before joining Euro RSCG in 2003 as group creative head. He worked his way up to become one of the ECDs in Mumbai before quitting the organisation in 2009 to pursue a film making course in New York.

At Euro Mumbai, he worked on accounts such as Sony, SET Max, Bharat Petroleum, Emirates, Grand Hyatt and Sanofi Aventis, among others.

Speaking to afaqs! on his new role, Bindra says, "Although I have worked with Euro earlier, this time it will be different. It's a larger responsibility as I will head the creative for the Delhi branch. The Delhi office has lots of large and film heavy accounts such as Reckitt and Makemytrip."

In his second innings at Euro, Bindra will look after all the brands including Reckitt Benckiser, Max New York Life, Makemytrip, BSNL and INQ, among others.
