RAM Week 25: Fever FM and AIR FM Gold neck to neck in Mumbai

In Kolkata, Fever FM moves up a spot to occupy the fifth position

The Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for the four RAM markets for Week 25 is out. Here is an update.

Mumbai

Radio Mirchi is No. 1 in the city with a market share of 17.2 per cent, gaining 0.2 percentage points over the previous week. Its average market share for the last four weeks also turns out to be 17.2 per cent.

The second and third positions in the city are occupied by Red FM and Radio City respectively.

Red FM has a market share of 14.1 per cent and its last four weeks' market share is also

14.1 per cent.

Radio City, placed third in the city, has a market share of 13.1 per cent, showing a loss of 0.1 percentage points over the previous week. The last four weeks' average market share for the radio station is 13.2 per cent.

Big FM is fourth in the city with a market share of 11.7 per cent and its last four weeks' market share turns out to be 11.6 per cent.

This week, both Fever FM and AIR FM Gold have scored identical market shares of 11.3 per cent each, occupying the fifth spot.

Radio One is next in line with a market share of 6.2 per cent, without registering any gain or loss over the previous week. AIR FM Rainbow has a market share of 5.7 per cent, which is the same as last week.

Among the other stations in Mumbai in Week 25 are Vividh Bharati, which has a market share of 4.6 per cent, followed by Meow FM (2.6 per cent) and Akashvani Mumbai

(2.3 per cent).

Delhi

Radio Mirchi is No. 1 in the city with a market share of 24.8 per cent. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 24.7 per cent.

Fever FM and AIR FM Gold occupy the second and third spots in Delhi.

Fever FM has a market share of 18.5 per cent with a loss of 0.4 percentage points over last week. AIR FM Gold, placed third, has a market share of 17.6 per cent with a gain of

0.1 percentage points. Its last four weeks' average market share also stands at 17.6 per cent.

Red FM is No. 4 with a market share of 9.4 per cent. The station's last four weeks' average market share turns out to be 9.5 per cent.

Radio City is at No. 5 with a market share of 8.4 per cent and a loss of 0.3 percentage points in comparison to Week 24. Big FM occupies the sixth position with a market share of

7.1 per cent, same as last week.

Radio One is No. 7 with a market share of 5.6 per cent and a loss of 0.2 percentage points this week. Its last four weeks' average market share is 5.8 per cent.

Among the other stations in Delhi this week are Meow FM, which has a market share of 2.8

per cent, followed by AIR FM Rainbow (2 per cent), Vividh Bharati (1.7 per cent), Hit FM (1.6 per cent) and Akashvani Delhi (0.4 per cent).

Bengaluru

Big FM is No. 1 in the city with a market share of 19.7 per cent and a loss of 0.1 percentage points. Its last four weeks' average market share is 19.6 per cent.

Radio Mirchi and Fever FM occupy the No. 2 and No. 3 spots in the city.

Radio Mirchi has a market share of 17.7 per cent, registering a gain of 0.3 percentage points over the previous week. Its four weeks' average market share is 17.4 per cent.

Fever FM has a market share of 15.2 per cent with a loss of 0.2 percentage points. Its last four weeks' average market share turns out to be 15.4 per cent.

Radio City is placed fourth with a market share of 12.3 per cent, registering a loss of 0.1 percentage points in comparison to Week 24. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 12.4 per cent.

AIR FM Rainbow occupies the No. 5 position and has a market share of 9.5 per cent. The radio station's four weeks' average market share is 9.6 per cent.

Red FM has moved up a spot and is placed sixth in the city with a market share of 8.8

per cent, showing a gain of 0.5 percentage points over the previous week.

Radio One is placed seventh in the city with a market share of 8.7 per cent, registering a gain of 0.1 percentage points over the previous week.

Among others in Bengaluru in Week 25 is Vividh Bharati with a market share of 4.4

per cent, followed by Radio Indigo (2.4 per cent); Gyan Vani (0.8 per cent); and Akashvani (0.4 per cent).

Kolkata

Radio Mirchi leads in the city with a market share of 20.7 per cent, registering a gain of 0.6 percentage points. Its four weeks' average market share is 20.3 per cent.

Big FM and Friends FM are placed No. 2 and No. 3 in the city.

Big FM has a market share of 17.7 per cent, registering a gain of 0.2 percentage points over the previous week. Its four weeks' average market share is 17.5 per cent.

Friends FM has a market share of 11.7 per cent, gaining 0.1 per cent over Week 24 and its last four weeks' average market share is 11.5 per cent.

Aamar FM is at No. 4 with a market share of 10.8 per cent. Its last four weeks' average market share turns out to be 10.9 per cent.

Fever FM has moved up a spot to occupy the fifth position with a market share of 8.6 per cent, registering a gain of 0.2 percentage points.

Red FM is placed sixth with a market share of 8.4 per cent and its last four weeks' market share turns out to be 8.5 per cent.

Radio One has a market share of 5.9 per cent. It is followed by Meow FM with a market share of 5.1 per cent; Meow FM has lost 0.1 percentage points this week.

In Week 25, among the other stations in Kolkata, both AIR FM Rainbow and AIR FM Gold have registered identical market shares of 3.4 per cent, followed by Akashvani (2.1 per cent), Power FM (1.4 per cent) and Vividh Bharati (0.9 per cent).
