RAM Week 36: It's status quo in all four RAM markets

This week in Bengaluru, Radio One has moved up a spot to occupy the No. 6 position

The Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for Week 36 is out. Here is an update on the four RAM markets.

Mumbai

Radio Mirchi is No. 1 in the city with a market share of 17.3 per cent; its average market share for the last four weeks is 17.6 per cent.

The second and third spots in the city are occupied by Red FM and Radio City respectively. Red FM has a market share of 13.8 per cent and its last four weeks' average market share is 13.6 per cent.

Radio City has a market share of 13.5 per cent with a gain of 0.1 percentage points. Its last four weeks' average market share is 13.4 per cent.

Big FM is at No. 4, with a market share of 11.8 per cent. Its last four weeks' average market share is 11.7 per cent.

AIR FM Gold is at No. 5 with a market share of 11.5 per cent, with a gain of 0.2 percentage points over the previous week. It is followed by Fever FM, with a market share of 11.2 per cent.

Radio One is at No. 7, with a market share of 6.1 per cent. It is followed by AIR FM Rainbow with a market share of 5.4 per cent.

Among the other stations in Mumbai in Week 36 are Vividh Bharati, which has a market share of 4.5 per cent; followed by Meow FM (2.7 per cent) and Akashvani Mumbai (2.3 per cent).

Delhi

Radio Mirchi leads in the city with a market share of 24.7 per cent. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 24.5 per cent.

At No. 2, Fever FM has a market share of 18.7 per cent. It is followed by AIR FM Gold, which has a market share of 17.5 per cent with a loss of 3.5 percentage points.

Red FM is at No. 4 with a market share of 9.6 per cent; while Radio City is at No. 5 with a market share of 8.6 per cent. The radio station has registered a gain of 0.2 percentage points over the previous week.

Big FM is at No. 6 with a market share of 7.3 per cent. It is followed by Radio One with a market share of 5.1 per cent, registering a loss of 0.3 percentage points in comparison to Week 35.

Among the other stations in Delhi in Week 36 is Meow FM, which has a market share of 2.3 per cent. It is followed by Vividh Bharati (2 per cent), AIR FM Rainbow (1.9 per cent), Hit FM (1.8 per cent) and Akashvani (0.1 per cent).

Bengaluru

Big FM leads in the city with a market share of 19.3 per cent; while its last four weeks' average market share is 18.7 per cent.

At No. 2, Radio Mirchi has a market share of 17.9 per cent. Its last four weeks' average market share is 17.6 per cent.

Fever FM is at No. 3, with a market share of 15.5 per cent; its last four weeks' average market share is 15.3 per cent.

Radio City is placed fourth with a market share of 12.7 per cent, registering a gain of 0.1 percentage points in comparison to the previous week. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 12.7 per cent.

AIR FM Rainbow is at No. 5 with a market share of 9.8 per cent; its last four weeks' average market share is 9.4 per cent.

In Week 36, Radio One has moved up a spot to become the No. 6 player. It has a market share of 8.6 per cent. Red FM is placed seventh with a market share of 8.1 per cent with a loss of 0.3 percentage points.

Among others in Bengaluru in Week 36 is Vividh Bharati with a market share of 4.3 per cent, followed by Radio Indigo (2.6 per cent), Gyan Vani (0.9 per cent) and Akashvani (0.3 per cent).

Kolkata

Radio Mirchi leads in the city with a market share of 20.5 per cent, showing a gain of 0.1 percentage points over the previous week. Big FM and Friends FM are placed No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.

Big FM has a market share of 17.6 per cent with a gain of 0.5 percentage point. Friends FM has a market share of 11.6 per cent, with a gain of 0.2 percentage points over Week 34. Its last four weeks' average market share is 11.5 per cent.

Aamar FM is at No. 4 with a market share of 10.9 per cent; while its last four weeks' average market share is 10.8 per cent.

Fever FM, with a market share of 8.5 per cent, continues to be the No. 5 player in the city. Red FM is at No. 6 with a market share of 8.3 per cent, registering a gain of 0.2 percentage points.

Radio One is at No. 7 with a market share of 6.4 per cent, registering a loss of 0.1 percentage points. Meow FM has registered a market share of 5.6 per cent with a gain of 0.5 percentage points.

In Week 36, among the other stations in Kolkata, AIR FM Rainbow has a market share of 3.5 per cent; followed by AIR FM Gold (3.1 per cent), Akashvani (2.1 per cent), Power FM (1.2 per cent) and Vividh Bharati (0.8 per cent).
