RP Singh joins Starcom MediaVest in digital role in Singapore

Singh has joined the agency at a senior level and will be based in Singapore. Earlier, he was working as business director, Maxus Interaction.

afaqs! has learnt from reliable sources in the industry that RP Singh has joined Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG) in a digital role at a senior level. He will be based in Singapore.

Prior to this, Singh was working with Maxus Interaction, the digital agency of GroupM, as business director, Maxus Interaction.

Singh has about nine years of experience in the industry. He started his career in 2001 with King Infotech Software Solutions, a software development company. A year later, he went off to pursue the MBA degree. In 2004, he joined StudioSmile as a project consultant. He moved to GroupM in March 2005, when Interaction was just being set up.

In 2008, Singh was transferred to Mindshare Interaction China for a year, where he handled clients such as Nike and Ford.

At Maxus Interaction, Singh handled digital marketing for advertisers such as Nokia, Hero Honda, Seagram and Perfetti Van Melle.

Singh was not available for comment at the time of filing this report.
