Big Broadcasting gets Arup Gopikrishna to head distribution

Reliance Television Pvt Ltd, the broadcast subsidiary of Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd, has appointed Arup Gopikrishna to lead the distribution of its upcoming TV channels, which will fall under the Big CBS umbrella.

Prior to this, Gopikrishna was business head at Pacenet. He joins Big Broadcasting with an experience of over 19 years in cable and distribution. He will report to Ashutosh, COO, Big Broadcasting.

In an official communiqué, Ashutosh says, "We welcome Arup on-board and are optimistic that his domain expertise and past experience will help add great value to our efforts. He will be overseeing distribution of all the channels of BIG CBS Networks Pvt Ltd at a national level."

Prior to his stint at Pacenet, Gopikrishna has worked with brands such as Zee-Turner, Walt Disney International, Zee Network and TV Today Network.
