Week 47: Big FM still leads the pack in Bengaluru

Radio Mirchi and Fever FM lose considerable percentage points in Bengaluru.

The Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for Week 46 is out. Here is an update on the four RAM markets.

Mumbai

Radio Mirchi leads in the city with a market share of 17.4 per cent, with a loss of 0.2 percentage points compared to the previous week's ratings. The average market share for the radio station for the last four weeks is 17.4 per cent.

Week 47: Big FM still leads the pack in Bengaluru
Radio City is at No. 2 position, with a market share of 14.7 per cent, with no loss or gain over the previous week's ratings. Red FM is at the third position. Its market share is 12.8 per cent, with a rise of 0.2 percentage points. The average market share of the last four weeks is 13.2 per cent.

Big FM is at No. 4 with a market share of 11.8 per cent in Mumbai. The radio station has registered a gain of 0.1 percentage points.

This week, AIR FM Gold is at No. 5 with a market share of 11.7 per cent. Fever FM follows with a market share of 11.2 per cent.

Air FM Rainbow and Radio One are at No. 7 and No. 8, with market shares of 5.7 per cent and 5.6 per cent, respectively. While the former registered a growth of 0.4 percentage points, the latter managed a gain 0.1 percentage points.

Among the other stations in Mumbai, Vividh Bharati has a market share of 4 per cent, followed by Oye! FM (2.7 per cent).

Delhi

Radio Mirchi leads in the city with a market share of 24.1 per cent, a bit lower than its last four weeks' average share of 24.3 per cent. It witnessed a loss of 0.1 percentage points in Week 47.

The next two spots are occupied by Fever FM and AIR FM Gold, with market shares of 18.1 per cent and 16.9 per cent, respectively. While Fever FM did not register any loss or growth, AIR FM Gold lost 0.3 percentage points. The average market shares of the stations are 18.3 per cent and 17.5 per cent respectively.

Red FM is at No. 4 with a market share of 9.6 per cent, registering a loss of 0.1 percentage points. Radio City is at the fifth position with a market share of 8.4 per cent, registering a growth of 0.1 percentage points.

In Week 47, Big FM and Radio One have garnered market shares of 7.4 per cent and 5.7 per cent respectively, occupying the sixth and seventh positions. The average market share of Red FM is 7.4 per cent and that of Radio One is 5.3 per cent.

Oye! FM and AIR FM Rainbow follow with market shares of 3.3 per cent and 2.5 per cent respectively.

Bengaluru

Big FM leads the pack in Bengaluru with a market share of 19.9 per cent, registering a massive gain of 0.6 percentage points. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 19.6 per cent.

Radio Mirchi, at No. 2, has a market share of 17.1 per cent, registering a loss of 0.6 percentage points. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 17.5 per cent. Fever FM is at No. 3 and has a market share of 15.1 per cent, registering a massive loss of 0.9 percentage points. Its average market share for the previous four weeks is 15.5 per cent.

Radio City is at the fourth position with a market share of 12.5 per cent, which is 0.4 per cent less than its previous week's ratings. It is followed by AIR FM Rainbow, which has a market share of 9.1 per cent, registering a gain of 0.1 percentage points in comparison to Week 46.

At No. 6, Red FM has a market share of 8.3 per cent, registering a loss of 0.1 percentage points. Radio One follows with a market share of 8.2 per cent, without registering any loss or gain over the previous week. The radio station's average market share for the past four weeks is 8.6 per cent.

Among the other stations in Bengaluru in Week 47 are Vividh Bharti, which has a market share of 5.2 per cent, followed by Radio Indigo (2.9 per cent) and Gyan Vani (1 per cent).

Kolkata

Radio Mirchi leads in the city with a market share of 20.5 per cent, registering a gain of 0.4 percentage points over the previous week.

Big FM is at No. 2 with a market share of 17.3 per cent, showing a loss of 0.4 per cent.

At No. 3, Friends FM has a market share of 11.7 per cent, with a loss of 0.1 percentage points over Week 46. Its last four weeks' average market share is 11.9 per cent.

Aamar FM is at No. 4 with a market share of 10.9 per cent; its last four weeks' average market share is 10.8 per cent.

Red FM is placed fifth with a market share of 8.8 per cent. Fever FM is at No. 6 with a market share of 8.5 per cent. Both stations did not register any loss or gain compared to last week's ratings.

Radio One is at No. 7 with a market share of 6.7 per cent, showing a gain of 0.2 percentage points.

Oye! FM has registered a market share of 4.4 per cent. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 4.5 per cent.
