Grey Digital appoints Navin Kansal as senior creative director

Kansal will head the creative division of Grey Digital.

Grey Digital, the digital arm of Grey Worldwide, has appointed Navin Kansal as senior creative director. "Kansal will head the creative division of Grey Digital," says Sudhir Nair, vice-president, South Asia, Grey Digital, in a conversation with afaqs!.

Earlier, Kansal was creative director, OgilvyOne, the digital and direct marketing arm of the Ogilvy network. Kansal has more than 13 years of work experience. Of that, he has spent about nine years at OgilvyOne, where he has worked on accounts such as Perfetti Van Melle, Cadbury, Vodafone, The Economist, Tata Safari, Lipton, Dove and Vaseline. Prior to Ogilvy, Kansal worked with Urja Communications as copywriter for about a year and Oberoi Multimedia as assistant director for about two and a half years.

In an official communiqué, Kansal says, "This is the right time to begin a new innings. Grey Digital has an exciting portfolio of brands - the recent Volkswagen win being a case in point, and a talented team. I am looking forward to doing some good work here."

Kansal's work has been recognised at Spikes Asia, Yahoo! Big Idea Chair, Abbys and Effies.

Adobe, Infosys, Deutsche Bank and ITC are some of the clients handled by Grey Digital.
