Google India has appointed Rajan Anandan as vice-president, sales and operations, India. Prior to this, he was the managing director at Microsoft India. He will be based out of Gurgaon.
Daniel Alegre, president, Japan and Asia-Pacific operations, says, "India is an important growth country for Google. With internet users growing at 50 per cent year-on-year, a strong leadership team will ensure that Google captures this tremendous opportunity."
Anandan has work experience of 18 years. At Microsoft, he looked after the software, OEM and services business in India.
