RAM Week 2: Radio Mirchi and Big FM lead in their respective markets

Radio City is at No. 2 in Mumbai, with a market share of 13.7 per cent.

The Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for Week 2 is out. Here is an update on the four RAM markets.

Mumbai

Radio Mirchi leads in the city with a market share of 16 per cent, registering a loss of 0.2 per cent, as compared to the previous week's ratings.

Radio City is at No. 2, with a market share of 13.7 per cent. It is followed by Red FM with a market share of 12.6 per cent, registering a minor dip of 0.2 per cent.

Big FM is at No. 4, with a market share of 12.4 per cent, while Fever FM is at No. 5, with a market share of 11.7 per cent. The radio station has registered a gain of 0.8 per cent, as compared to Week 1.

At No. 6, AIR FM Gold has a market share of 11 per cent, losing 0.3 per cent. Radio One and Vividh Bharati are at No. 7 and 8, with market shares of 6 per cent and 4.9 per cent, respectively. While Radio One registered a loss of 0.6 per cent, Vividh Bharati has lost a minor 0.1 per cent in market share.

Among the other stations in Mumbai, AIR FM Rainbow has a market share of 4.5 per cent, followed by Oye! FM, which has 3.8 per cent.

Delhi

Radio Mirchi leads in the city with a market share of 22.2 per cent. It registered a loss of 1.5 per cent in the current week.

At No. 2, Fever FM has a market share of 19.2 per cent, and has gained 0.4 per cent in market share. It is followed by AIR FM Gold with a market share 17.7 per cent, and a gain of 0.6 per cent.

Red FM is at No. 4, with a market share of 9.9 per cent, registering a loss of 0.6 per cent, as compared to Week 1. Radio City and Big FM follow, with market shares of 8.6 per cent and 7.6 per cent, respectively.

Radio One has garnered a market share of 5.9 per cent, occupying the seventh position.

Among the other radio stations in Delhi, Oye! FM, AIR FM Rainbow and Hit 95 FM have market shares of 2.9 per cent, 2.3 per cent and 1.8 per cent, respectively.

Bengaluru

Big FM leads in Bengaluru with a market share of 18.6 per cent, registering a drop of 0.6 per cent vis-à-vis the previous week.

At No. 2, Radio Mirchi has a market share of 17.4 per cent, gaining 0.4 per cent vis-à-vis Week 1. Fever FM and Radio City are at No. 3 and No. 4, with market shares of 14.9 per cent and 14.1 per cent, respectively.

Red FM is at No. 5 with a market share of 10 per cent. It is followed by AIR FM Rainbow, which has a market share of 7.7 per cent, registering a gain of 0.3 per cent.

Among the other stations in Bengaluru in Week 2, Radio One has a 7.2 per cent market share. Vividh Bharati has 6.1 per cent, followed by Radio Indigo (2.8 per cent) and Gyan Vani (1.1 per cent).

Kolkata

Radio Mirchi leads in the city with a market share of 20 per cent. Big FM and Aamar FM are placed second and third, respectively.

Big FM has a market share of 17.5 per cent, registering a loss of 0.2 per cent. Aamar FM has garnered a market share of 12.4 per cent, with a gain of 0.6 per cent in comparison to Week 1.

Friends FM is at No. 4, with a market share of 12.1 per cent. Fever FM and Red FM are next in line, with market shares of 9.3 per cent and 8 per cent, respectively.

Radio One is at No. 7 with a market share of 5.4 per cent. It is followed by Oye! FM with a market share of 4.7 per cent.

In Week 2, among the other stations in Kolkata, AIR FM Gold has a market share of 4.1 per cent, while AIR FM Rainbow has 2.6 per cent.
