Jaipur Airport invites tender for 607 baggage trolleys

Parties bidding for the contract should have a minimum annual turnover of Rs 10 lakh.

The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has called for bids for advertisement rights on 607 passenger baggage trolleys at the civil airport of Jaipur. The rights will be awarded for a period of three years. The application requires an earnest money deposit (EMD) of Rs 3,03,000.

Parties with a minimum experience of two years in the advertisement display business or trolley management services at transportation centres such as airports, seaports, railways and bus terminals (including bus shelters) will be eligible for the contract. Hoteliers and airlines, including foreign airlines, business and industrial houses, courier agencies and shopping malls which have been in the business for at least two years can also bid for the contract.

The parties bidding for the contract should have an annual turnover of not less than Rs 10 lakh from the business for which experience has been claimed.

The minimum reserve licence fee is Rs 700 per trolley, per month. Although the contract will be awarded for 607 trolleys, there will be a pro-rata increase in the license fee for any increase in the number of trolleys during the contract period. The quoted license fee will be compounded by 10 per cent every year during the contract period.

Duly completed tender documents should be submitted by February 15 (3 pm). The technical bid will be opened on August 10 at 3:30 pm.
