Earlier, Kadam was with Leo Burnett, Mumbai.

Commenting on his move, Kadam tells afaqs!, "I had quit mainline advertising to dabble in digital in order to understand how the medium is really different and how it works. However, during the course, I realised that my forte is 'ideas'. It was time to come back to full-fledged advertising, and that is how the Publicis assignment came about."

At Publicis Ambience, Kadam will work on Park Avenue deodorants, HDFC Mutual Fund and Videocon D2H, among a host of other brands.

Kadam started his career 11 years ago as a copywriter at Lowe Lintas, and worked on Clinic All Clear (the 'Dho daala' and 'Get up, get going' campaigns, among others) and Axe deodorants. He was a part of the team that worked on the Balbir Pasha campaign.

After three-and-a-half years, he moved to McCann Erickson, where he spent a year-and-a-half as creative team leader on Onida. He also worked on various brands of Johnson & Johnson and Hindustan Unilever. This was followed by a stint at Ogilvy Mumbai, where he first worked with the Amit Akali-Malvika Mehra duo, followed by work with Rensil D'Silva and Anup Chitnis. He spent two years working on Hutch regional (Gujarat circle), Haathi Cement and Cadbury.

Subsequently, Kadam moved to JWT Dubai for a nine-month stint. Later, he joined Leo Burnett Mumbai, where he spent three-and-half years working as creative director on accounts such as P&G, Heinz and McDonald's.

Kadam has won awards at the Abby's, Goafest, Adfest Asia-Pacific and London International. He has achieved 'In book' status at the One Show and D&AD awards. His work has also been chosen for inclusion in the Poster collection of the Louvre's Musée de la Publicité in Paris.
