Jwalant Swaroop takes over as COO, publishing and events division of Lokmat Media

Jwalant Swaroop, director - advertising, Lokmat Media Group, has been promoted as the chief operating officer of the publishing and events division of the group. He will assume his new responsibilities from June 1. Swaroop confirmed the development to afaqs!

With over 26 years of experience in the newspaper industry, Swaroop has been associated with Lokmat Media Group since 1992. He is a key member of the leadership team, handling the advertising sales function of the group. Swaroop was promoted to the post of director, ad sales, in April 2004, from the position of general manager.

Swaroop has a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Allahabad, and a degree in Law from the University of Nagpur.
