ZenithOptimedia bags the media duties of OLX

ZenithOptimedia has bagged the media duties of the free online classifieds website OLX. The agency won the account through a creative pitch that included two more agencies. However at the time of filing this report, the name of the agencies could not be obtained.

The size of the business is said to be between Rs 10-12 crore.

Amarjit Singh, country manager, OLX, says, "ZenithOptimedia has demonstrated great return-on-investment (ROI) to OLX through planning tools and buying clout in the market."

Satyajit Sen, CEO, ZenithOptimedia India says, "ZenithOptimedia's sound strategy based on consumer and category understanding, along with a strong focus on ROI led to this new-age business win. Founded in March 2006, OLX is a free online classified site which provides solutions to the complications involved in selling, buying and trading. OLX is used in over 96 countries in 40 languages.
