Patrika launches in Bilaspur
Bilaspur is the second-largest city in the state, with a population of over 3.8 lakh, and is therefore, according to Patrika, a promising area to grab advertiser attention.

Patrika currently runs editions in Raipur, Durg and Bhilai, in Chhattisgarh.

The content for Patrika's Bilaspur edition will also include the weekly supplements Parivaar (on Wednesdays), Me Next (on Saturdays) and Hum Tum (on Sundays). While the daily is priced at Rs 1.50, the Wednesday and Saturday editions are priced at Rs 2. The Sunday edition will cost Rs 2.50.

Bhuvnesh Jain, deputy editor, Patrika Group, says, "The product that we offer to our readers is a package of national and international issues with an appropriate mix of local issues. The newspaper covers various aspects such as sports, business and entertainment. The city supplement will highlight and expound the contemporary culture and lifestyle of the city, and is targeted at the youth."
