Network Advertising has been on a winning spree, cornering various businesses across categories in the recent past. The recent wins of the agency include Japanese tyre manufacturer Bridgestone Tyres, brands from Yash Birla Group's Birla Wellness and Healthcare umbrella (Evolve, Rebirth - The Birla Wellness Store and Birla Kerala Vaidyashala) and Parag Milk Foods' Gowardhan Ghee.
Confirming the development, D B Murli, executive vice-president, Network Advertising, says, "It has been a great three-four months for us at Network. Winning a new account is always good news but getting a mix of brands across categories like these gives us that much more opportunity to showcase our strategic insights and creative solutions."
Bridgestone Tyres, although present for a decade in India, will be looking at communicating on mass media for the first time in the country. While there was no pitch called for the business, Network Advertising has also been awarded the media mandate for the brand.
Going forward, the media mix for Bridgestone's communication will be skewed towards television, outdoor and digital.
Birla Wellness and Healthcare's brands, on the other hand, were won following a pitch. Evolve, Rebirth and Birla Kerala Vaidyashala - each offer unique health solutions to consumers.
Evolve, a joint venture between the Yash Birla Group and Pacific Healthcare, is a chain of centres specialising in cosmetic dermatology, cosmetic and plastic surgery, general and specialist dentistry and maxillofacial surgery.
Rebirth is another store chain for health, personal and nutritional requirements stocking a range of products containing active ingredients with a strong natural base. It also offers services such as in-house spas, wellness consultancies and reflexology treatments.
Birla Kerala Vaidyashala is an Ayurveda therapy chain across Mumbai and South India, specialising in offering treatments for lifestyle and chronic health disorders.
The brands' campaigns ahead will largely involve press advertising. However, with plans of launching OTC brands going forward, Birla Kerala Vaidyashala's communication will also involve television with the rollout.
The creative duties for the brands were handled by MX Advertising.
The Pune-based Gowardhan business was also won by the agency without a pitch.
Gowardhan Ghee, from one of the country's largest private diaries, Parag Milk Foods' Gowardhan, will see limited activity in terms of communication within its stronghold - Maharashtra and Goa. However, the campaign will take further pace as the distribution expands pan India.
Commenting on the wins, Nilesh Vaidya, executive creative director, Network Advertising, exclaims, "I think we are due for a really big party. On a serious note, nothing beats winning a pitch, except the satisfaction of going on to do some really memorable work on the brands you win. And, that is what we are aiming for now."
Network Advertising recently bagged the creative duties for Zuska deodorants, the campaign for which is currently on. The agency has also been appointed by Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) as one of its empanelled agencies.
