Commenting on the launch, Rajan Mehta, founder and chief executive officer, LiveMedia, says, "With mobile phones having emerged as a comprehensive medium with the largest reach, LiveDigital is slated to bring innovative solutions for its clients and mobile users, using a mix of technology and creativity. Our endeavour is to provide brands and users with a pleasurable experience through relevant and high quality content."

LiveMedia has brought on board Anuj Kumar as senior vice-president, and Ivon Parmanand as vice-president, sales and marketing, to spearhead the newly-launched digital arm.

Kumar has earlier worked with companies like Air2Web and Mobile2Win. He has done some successful mobile marketing campaigns for companies like Hero Honda, Yahoo!, American Express, and Dish TV, amongst others.

Parmanand, who has an experience of more than 20 years, and has worked with companies like Godfrey Philips, Mobile2Win, Air2Web and Spice Digital, tells afaqs!, "We intend to ideate on behalf of brand owners and design customised advertisements and promotions to build a bridge between the target audience and brands."

Parmanand further adds, "We would like to evangelise mobile advertisement and marketing, using the mobile ecosystem. In a country, where 65 per cent of the population uses mobile, this mode of advertising has a long way to go. It is to be noted that mobile advertisement is an amalgamation of radio, television and print. Handsets can be used to have a look at everything."

LiveDigital is already working with clients like Microsoft, Max New York Life, IPOL, and Maruti Suzuki.
