Reliance Broadcast Network makes two key appointments at Big Street

The company has appointed Vivek Bagai as national sales head and Naveen Saxena as regional business head, West.

Reliance Broadcast Network Limited (RBNL) has announced two key appointments for its out of home (OOH) vertical Big Street. While Vivek Bagai has been appointed as national sales head, Naveen Saxena has been roped in as regional business head, West. Both Bagai and Saxena will report to Ashwin Padmanabhan, business head, Big Street.

As part of his new portfolio, Bagai will be responsible for sales and revenue generation for the company's OOH business. He joins RBNL from Bharti Airtel, where he was general manager, sales, for the Lucknow and Gorakhpur zones. He has also had stints at Reliance Infocomm and ExxonMobil Lubricants.

Bagai brings in 17 years of experience in the areas of business operations, sales and marketing, customer relationship management, and distribution management.

"I am really looking forward to this new assignment and am excited about joining RBNL. It is looking at new horizons of growth and I hope that through my knowledge and experience, I will be able to contribute to this growth," says Bagai.

Saxena, who joins as regional business head, comes with 13 years of experience in marketing and sales, in leadership positions. He joins RBNL from Peacock Media, the out of home and multi-platform lifestyle media agency and has, over the years, developed marketing and sales campaigns, activations, strategies and solutions. He will be based in Mumbai and lead the business operations for the West region of Big Street.

On his new role, Saxena says, "It is a great opportunity to work with Big Street. I believe I can use my experience for the expansion and growth of the business, and look forward to a great innings with the company."

Discussing the key announcements, Padmanabhan says, "Bagai comes with a rich experience in sales, working with organisations with expanding inventories across geographies, enabling him to drive teams in a synergised fashion to achieve the desired results."

He adds, "Saxena will be a huge asset to our business with his excellent track record and deep knowhow of the industry. We are confident that they will lead the teams into the new chapter of Big Street's growth."
