Synovate announces senior-level appointments in India

Ruma Sengupta has been appointed as director of insights in Synovate. Prior to joining the global research firm, Sengupta was working with IMRB International as business head. On the other hand, Sachin Chaudhari quit Millward Brown to rejoin Synovate as research director. And, the global market research firm has also roped in Avijit Ghosh in the Motoresearch team as associate director, in Mumbai. Previously, Ghosh was with Frost and Sullivan, in Toronto.

Talking about the appointments, Mick Gordon, managing director, Synovate India, says, "The new senior-level recruits have a wealth of experience, which we will leverage to further enhance our client delivery mechanisms. We have a strong and solid top team to guide and advise our clients' businesses towards growth."

Having more than 15 years of experience across varied sectors like FMCG, OTC, pharma, media and business consultancy, Sengupta has worked with Adlabs Films, UB Group, Ranbaxy, ORG MARG (a part of the Nielson Company), and the British High Commission.

Chaudhari has previously worked with various companies like TNS Dubai, IMRB International, AC Nielsen and Aga Khan Rural Support Programme in Gujarat.

Ghosh, whose work experience has primarily revolved around the automotive research sector, has earlier worked with Cygnus Business Consulting and Research.
