Chaudhari joins the agency from Lowe Lintas, where she worked for more than a decade.

Eleven Brandworks has roped in Sampada Chaudhari as the agency's chief operating officer. Chaudhari joins Eleven Brandworks' Mumbai office after ending a 12-year stint at Lowe Lintas. She will be responsible for running the agency and leading new business initiatives.

Puneet Kapoor, director, Eleven Brandworks, says, "Chaudhari has been doing really well at Lowe. The nature of the animal here at Eleven Brandworks is much more challenging, though. We are much younger and nimble-footed. We see her playing a pivotal role with our current set of clients, apart from leading new business initiatives."

Eleven Brandworks is a full service agency, based in Mumbai and Gurgaon, founded more than two years ago by Kapoor and Prateek Bhardwaj. The agency's current set of clients include Bloomberg UTV, Archies, Hallmark, Imagine TV and Homex, among others.

"Eleven Brandworks has a dynamic, young and talented team with hunger for growth and great work. It is a refreshing opportunity for me to nurture, build and grow the agency," says Chaudhari.

Chaudhari began her career as a management trainee with Grey Worldwide (then Trikaya Grey) more than 13 years ago. She soon moved to Lowe Lintas, working in cross functional roles. She brings to Eleven Brandworks her experience across media, account management, planning, knowledge management, brand management and business development.

Over the years, she has worked with several leading brands and companies including Marico, Proctor & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson and Unilever.

Her last role at Lowe Lintas was that of vice-president, business development, and her work involved founding and running the business development and growth practice for the company. Her role also included overseeing some corporate initiatives, including PR and agency participation in effectiveness awards.

Chaudhari tells afaqs! that her cross-functional experience will be of much help as she takes on her new role at Eleven Brandworks.

"Sampada's cross-functional skills bring great value to the table - for both, our own internal efficiencies, as well as for our clients' businesses," says Bhardwaj.

Commenting further on her mandate ahead, Kapoor says, "We are a hungry company. We are pitching aggressively and with Chaudhari on board, we will be more enthusiastic on that front. Besides new business initiatives, she will also lead the entire account management team, while Bhardwaj and I take care of the creative work."
