AkzoNobel India, the maker of Dulux, has roped in Olive e-Business as its digital partner. The development is the result of a pitch process that was initiated in March.
Olive e-Business will be responsible for planning and executing a 360-degree digital branding of Dulux, centred around Dulux's principal theme of 'Let's Colour'.
Speaking about the association, Pushkar Jain, marketing manager, AkzoNobel India, says, "At AkzoNobel, we believe in delivering 'Tomorrow's answers today' and keeping this in mind, the digital sphere is going to be one of the key areas through which we interact with our consumers. We have already introduced a few digital innovations and see engagement in the digital sphere as a defining feature of our strategy."
Dipin Kapur, director, Olive e-Business, says, "We are very happy with our new association with AkzoNobel India as its creative partner for digital services. India is realising the tremendous potential of the digital space as a medium of engagement. Dulux is a household name, and we hope to use the digital sphere to further enhance its brand connect.''
It is to be noted that recently, AkzoNobel India launched a consumer-friendly application called the Dulux Paint Calculator, which tells the consumers exactly how much it will cost to paint their houses. The Dulux Paint Calculator is a navigation-friendly tool application on the Dulux website where, with a couple of quick clicks, the home owner can make an informed decision about the finances involved in painting or re-painting his house, depending on the dimensions the consumer feeds in.
