Mudra Max promotes Aneil Deepak as head, ideas

Popularly known as Andee, Deepak was senior vice-president, innovation and integration, Mudra Max. In his new role, he will be responsible for generating new ideas across various divisions, including sales and advertising across the 16 units of Mudra Max.

Aneil Deepak aka Andee, senior vice-president, innovation and integration, Mudra Max, has been given a national role, and has been promoted as head of ideas.

Confirming the development to afaqs!, Deepak says, "While the earlier role was restricted to planning, the new role has been created keeping in mind the evolving nature of the business of advertising in today's world."

In his new role, he will be responsible for developing new ideas and strategies across various divisions, including sales and advertising. He will also be responsible for all the 16 units of Mudra Max, including sports, sales promotions, events, rural marketing, out of home and many more.

Deepak, a gold medallist in Economics, graduated from Kakatiya University, and followed it up with an MBA from the same university. He joined Marico in 1998, as sales promotions in-charge, South. After two years in the company, he joined RC&M as general manager, where he worked for about a year. In 2006, he joined Mudra Max, where he has spent more than five years.

Apart from exploring upcountry markets, Deepak has played a variety of roles, from being a door-to-door salesman, to handling brands such as Saffola. He specialises in sales promotions, events, rural marketing and out of home communications.
