OMI, the OOH arm of Laqshya Media Group, has roped in Vivek Lakhwara as senior vice-president. Lakhwara, who will be based in Mumbai, will report to Atul Shrivastava, chief operating officer, Laqshya Media Group.
He will be responsible for looking after the outdoor business of the agency, which includes acquiring new clients and growing the agency in terms of revenue.
In an official communique, Shrivastava says, "Lakhwara's skills suit the requirements of OMI. I am sure that his inclusion will help achieve the growth targets, not only in terms of revenues, but also for the overall value proposition in OOH campaigns of our clients."
Having more than two decades of experience in marketing, media and advertising, Lakhwara, an alumnus of the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, started his career with Nestle India. Subsequently, he has worked with The Indian Express, Chitralekha, Indus Ind Media, Jasubhai Publications, and Jain TV.
Post Jain TV, he joined Lintas Media Group, where he has spent more than 14 years, initially with Millennium Media as associate vice-president, and then as the chief executive officer of Aaren Initiative, followed by his most recent role.
