Everest Brand Solutions has roped in Arnab Banerjee as head of creative, art, for its Delhi office. He will report to Rahul Jauhari, national creative director, Everest Brand Solutions.
Commenting on the development, Jauhari says in an official communiqué, "Banerjee brings just the right mix of talent, experience and enthusiasm that we seek to inject into our creative pool. His passion will be felt equally by our clients, as well as people within the agency."
Naveen Saraswat, chief operating officer, Everest Delhi, adds, "Banerjee is an 'ideas' person. His excellent sense of design makes his creative output look refreshing and makes it stand out visually. He is very passionate about doing good work. These abilities, combined with his strong leadership skills will enhance the quality of the work that we do for our clients and add value to their brands."
Prior to joining August Communications, Banerjee was with DDB Mudra as creative director until March 2010. Armed with 11 years of experience in advertising, Banerjee has had successful stints at Ogilvy, Euro RSCG, Rediffusion DY&R, Grey Worldwide and McCann Erickson.
Some of the brands on which he has worked include international names such as Wrigley Orbit, Boomer, Philips, MasterCard, Hutch (now known as Vodafone), and national brands such as Airtel, ITC and ONGC. His experience in handling media and publication clients includes working for The Statesman in Kolkata, and the India Today Group in Delhi.
