Sanjay Reddy rejoins Zee as head, South cluster

ZEEL announced the appointment of Sanjay Reddy as executive vice-president, South cluster. This will be Reddy's second stint with Zee after a gap of two years. In his new role, Reddy will head Zee's South channels, including Zee Telugu, Zee Kannada and Zee Tamil. He will report to Nittin Keni, creative head, ZEEL.

Reddy brings with him more than two decades of experience in the media and entertainment industry.

Earlier, Reddy has been associated with other media firms in India, which include Walt Disney, MSM Network, ESPN-STAR Sports and Bennett, Coleman and Co. Ltd. His last assignment was with Sun TV Network as business head, Telugu cluster.

Speaking on the appointment, Punit Goenka, managing director and chief executive officer, ZEEL, says, "South has always been one of Zee's key markets and we are confident of consolidating our position with a robust team headed by Reddy."

Keni says, "In line with our strategy to strengthen our position in the southern market, Reddy will contribute tremendously to growing and expanding the Zee brand further. I am looking forward to working with Reddy to steer the growth in the southern market."
