In a bid to extend its service offerings, Milestone Brandcom, the out of home agency, has launched Milestone Connect, to look after on-ground events, sports marketing, and promotional marketing solutions.
Talking about Milestone Connect, Nabendu Bhattacharyya, founder and managing director, Milestone Brandcom, says, "Focussing on the experiential aspect of consumer marketing, the new unit will address the evolving communication needs and expectations of clients."
He further adds, "The focus of modern marketing communication is shifting from the traditional 'one-to-many', to 'one-to-one' customer engagements. Interactive platforms are needed to help understand and connect meaningfully with the customers."
To lead the new unit, Milestone Brandcom has roped in Shivneet Singh as vice-president and national head, Milestone Connect. Until recently, he was with Kidstuff (promotional marketing arm of Mudra Max) as vice-president for North India and East India operations.
His immediate mandate will be to hire the best talents in the industry and help Milestone Connect grow nationally.
Having more than 18 years of experience in handling product launches, brand promotions, and sports events, Singh has worked with various agencies like TIC-Integrated Event Marketing, CS Direkt Events and Exhibitions, Lemon Tree Media, Kidstuff, and Sporting Ambition.
"Singh's appointment will strengthen Milestone Group's service portfolio, and will give a jumpstart to the experiential marketing and brand promotions for the Milestone Group," says Bhattacharyya.
As for Singh, he's all geared up to take up the challenge to grow Milestone Connect. "Milestone already has some good clients, and we hope to build further on these relationships, as well as develop more clients in the future."
Singh further adds, "My past experience, coupled with the creative strength of Milestone Brandcom, will help deliver great ideas in a more meaningful way for brands."
