Peugeot India is looking for a creative partner

The French car brand has already begun talks with several creative agencies in India. The size of the creative business remains undisclosed.

After announcing its new industrial facility at Sanand in Gujarat, the French automotive giant Peugeot is now looking for a creative partner in India.

It has already commenced the process of looking at agency pitches in India. However, its primary aim is to successfully set up the plant in Sanand.

Euro RSCG is the global creative agency for the brand.

Earlier, the car manufacturer had called for a pitch for a global public relations agency. Avian Media has won this business.

The automotive brand belongs to the PSA Peugeot Citroën Group, one of Europe's largest car manufacturers.

Earlier, in September, Peugeot had announced its plans to invest Rs 4,000 crore in the country. In Sanand, Peugeot plans to build a cutting-edge vehicle manufacturing facility, integrating body paint and assembly operations with an initial capacity of 1,70,000 vehicles per year, with options for further expansion. The first locally produced Peugeot car is expected in 2014.

Besides this, Peugeot also intends to create an Automotive Skills Development Institute (ASDI) in partnership with the Government of Gujarat.

Peugeot will strengthen its identity and its 'Motion and Emotion' signature, while launching a carefully targeted set of models which are adapted to Indian market needs and tastes.

Peugeot will also be present at the Delhi Auto Expo in January 2012 and has several interesting plans for the upcoming event.
