Zee gets Mahindra's Rajesh Jejurikar as president

Jejurikar, who will report to Punit Goenka, managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO), ZEEL, will come on board in February 2012.

Jejurikar, an MBA from the SP Jain Institute of Management (1986 batch), has been with Mahindra & Mahindra for the last 11 years. Prior to that, he was with the FMCG company Marico Industries.

Goenka, in an official communiqué, says, "Jejurikar's vast experience in marketing and brand building will add immense value to the organisation."

For Jejurikar, his decade-long experience at Mahindra has been a great learning experience, both professionally and personally. He is now all excited to steer the pioneer broadcasting company of India, Zee Entertainment, in a sector which he finds very exciting -- media and entertainment.
